This past week has been pretty jam-packed! We have continued to work with the high school football team. It´s been fun to build friendships with them and challenge the guys in their speed. On Monday we went reppeling down the side of a cliff in the mountains of Tennessee. It was pretty sweet, you can see the pictures on here.
Last Friday we had the chance to pray with one of the football coach´s wives regarding some illnesses she had been experiencing. The doctor´s had prescribed her some medications to alleviate the problems, however she didn´t want to remain on them. So we prayed over her and about a week later told us that she had immediate healing and has been good since. God is so good!
Please continue to pray with us as we look for more opportunities to share with the young men we are training on the field. We are also starting to get amped up for Morocco. One week away! At the same time we are loving Cleveland and will enjoy every last minute we have left. |

We are staying in a pretty sweet church here in Cleveland, TN. There are a lot of people that know of YWAM and are excited for what we are doing. One couple approached us and asked if we could pray for the wife, she had been experiencing some dizziness, headaches, etc. for the last few weeks. They are actually YWAMers as well, they did their DTS years ago, but once a YWAMer always a YWAMer.
The students were pumped and we all dived right in to prayer. We laid hands on her and prayed for healing while also calling forth the awesome gifting´s God has placed within her. That was on Sunday, it´s been a week and a half and she has been healthy since! Praise the Lord! It´s such a blessing to see God move in powerful ways! |

We arrived late Saturday evening into Cleveland, TN. Then jumped right into outreach mode the following morning with attending church at the church that is blessing us with a place to stay. We quickly made friendships and were welcomed into the community. Sunday evening we ran their youth service, where the DTS students performed their drama and a few shared testimonies. As we were worshiping God before our time to share, God highlighted to Aaron that some of the girls needed healing from family hurts such as divorce and abuse. It resonated with us and as we moved forward in the service God prepared their hearts and our. Aaron was the last one to share and opened it up for the students to receive prayer. There was a moment of hesitation, but the students did respond. We all were able to enter into conversations with the students, to listen to their hearts and pray through things with them. It was a smaller youth group for that evening, so we were able to minister to each student. Many of the students did come from broken families and we were able to speak life and encourage them. God definitely showed up!
We have also been helping to run a speed camp for a high school football team in the area. Each of us are out there alongside of them running sprints, cone drills and ladders. It´s awesome to be able to apply the training we have received throughout the lecture. We are super pumped for the relationships we will be building and the opportunity we have to really speak into these young mens lives.
The DTS students are also in class 4 days a week, receiving further lecture time as they are working towards receiving their Basic Trainer Certification. Needless to say our schedule is jam packed and we are pooped. But we are having a blast in the midst of it. |
