Some of our students comments on this weeks teaching!
Steve spoke to us via "Genesis". This is an interactive video conferencing system we have here in Orlando that allows us to connect with teachers all over the world without the teacher ever leaving their home!
Listen to what some of our great students had to say about him:
“This past week was the third of our teaching, Pathways to Spiritual Maturity. Our teacher was Steve Shamblin, who spoke to us each day from his church in North Carolina. The week was not as emotionally deep as past weeks, but had a real conviction and guidance there. Also, Steve has an incredible gift to accept and hear the Spirit. Which was a great help in our personal teaching. I will be using his teachings for the rest of my life.” - Jessie Bohn (Idaho)
“ Something I´m sure every Christian longs for but cant quite seem to grasp. There´s always a wall we seem to bump into and then sometimes just give up. The so-called wall is different for everyone and as our teacher Steve broke “The Pathway for Spiritual Maturity” Down. He helped me to see not only where I was on my path but the exact steps to reach spiritual Maturity. I’ve realized you can’t just settle with your relationship in the Lord, You’ll never be content. God wants us to grow in him and reach spiritual Maturity. Don’t see yourself or God short. You don’t want to miss what your life looks as you grow in Jesus.” - Danielle Martin (Florida)
“Spiritual maturity, I think was a really great week. We learned about how to walk just in God’s will, and not our own or anyone else’s. We also went into how to grow our relationship with God from Babe in Christ to Young Men and Women in Christ. Steve was really inspiring and encouraging. His teachings really made me excited about growing up spiritually.” - Alisa (Texas)
“ Steve Shamblin is awesome! He talked about Pathways to Spiritual Maturity. We started off as babes in Christ then began to grow closer to him and becoming more tuned to his voice as we grow up in Christ and become young adults in Christ.” - Miki (Taiwan)
“The main thing I got from this weeks teaching from Steve Shamblin is that he spoke over me in my issues with independence. He asked us what was our greatest character issue as a Christian. He said that in my submission in this issue brokenness will come from it, but it will be a precious thing. This strong will (independence) will be something God will use in me to grow against things that are not of God. God can use strength when it is broken and fruit will come from it.;"> - Lauren Browne (N. Ireland) |
