Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of communication, but we were living in a village with no internet. We have had an amazing time though. Check out the pictures by clicking on the flickr link below.
We helped at a local school paint and clean and found out afterwards that the school has never allowed Christian teams in before and after we had finished said that we did such a good job that they want YWAM teams to come back again. The tournament went well, although our team lost both its games, but they played well against people a lot older and bigger than them. We lead the church service on Sunday morning and the youth did an amazing job, giving testimonies, preaching and doing our dramas and dances.
Tomorrow we have a fun day and will be ziplining through the rain forests!! Then we head back to Orlando on Wednesday for a nice hot shower and no rice with our food!!

Hello from Costa Rica. Just a quick update as we just managed to pop into an internet cafe but only have 5 minutes before the bus leaves.
So anyhow things are going well. We have played lots of soccer games, most just with locals in the park. We tought 15 children yesterday some soccer skills and then played some games with them and inbetween performed our dramas for them. At the end 5 children prayed a prayer of salvation!! Praise God. Today we cleaned the front of our school in preperation for painting and during the school break we performed our dramas for around 100 school kids. Tomorrow we paint a gym at another school and then Sunday we are taking part in a soccer tournament, with YWAM against teams from England and Costa Rica.
please pray for us as things are a little crazy and unpredictable, but the team is doing good if a little tired from the soccer games and working hard today.

All the participants arrived safely over the weekend and have been working hard to prepare for their outreach in Costa Rica. Part of the team will be using dramas and dances to minister to the people of Costa Rica and the other part of the team will be playing soccer.
