Stephanie's Bio:

I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ when I was very young.  I went to college (NCSU) and got very involved in one of the campus ministries, which is where my faith really began to grow, but it wasn´t until I moved to New York City that I was faced with the opportunity to own my faith.  I worked in the television industry for David Letterman, Saturday Night Live and Conan O´Brien, and the very least I can say is that my faith was challenged.  My mom told me very early on that I would be doing missions, but when I was in my stuffy NYC apartment with aspirations of becoming the next big television producer, missionary work was the farthest thing from my mind.  I eventually left the city and after a series of crazy events I ended up in Scotland (at a friend of a friend´s) and staying with an amazing family that had been involved in YWAM for years.  After asking questions and talking things through with them, I decided a DTS was for me, so I went to Orlando in September of 2009 to embark on this journey called a DTS.  God kept calling me back, because 2 weeks after my DTS I returned to do the School of Worship, then with just a weekend break, I started the School of Ministry Development.  After so much prayer and asking God what was next, here I am, ready to go wherever He sends me as part of the YWAM Orlando family!
