Here's how our application process works. You can either download an application or fill one out online. Please take a moment to read through the process below. You'll need to work on your essay questions before you begin the application process, since once you start the application you cannot leave and return. It must be completed in one sitting.
Please note that if you are returning intern you still need to fill out an application, but you only need one reference (from your pastor) and you will answer a different set of essay questions.

This is where you'll give us all your vitals and contact info. You will need to upload a current photo of yourself, so please have one ready before you start the process! A clear headshot is best - or the photo you use for your Facebook or MySpace profile. |

Essay Questions
We want to know more about you than just your address and day of birth - what has really shaped you as a Christian, and why do you want to come and learn at YWAM Orlando? These essay questions help us get to know you better.

Here are the essay questions for this application. Please have your answers ready before you begin your online application.
- Describe your conversion experience and present relationship with the Lord.
- How is your relationship with your family? How do they feel about you attending this program?
- Describe your relationship with your local church, including areas of service and leadership.
- What does the "Great Commission" from Matthew 28:18-20 mean to you?
- Do you feel to be called a full-time missionary?
- How do you see yourself involved in fulfilling the Great Commission?
- Have you had any mission experience? If so, where and what type(s) of ministry were you involved in?
- Why do you desire to serve as a summer intern? What will you uniquely add to the program?
- Describe your personal gifts/qualifications that you feel would be of service to the team. In what areas/responsibilities do you see yourself involved during the trip?
- Have you ever been involved in, a felonious crime, drug or alcohol abuse, occult activities, or homosexual practices?

- Are you involved in any current or pending law or legal proceedings? (If you are, please explain)
- Do you have a police record (civil or military)? (If you do, Please explain)
- What areas of your character are you presently seeking God to further develop and improve?

- Please list any special circumstances or situations we should know about.

References
We want to know what other people in your life think of you as well. We'll ask you to give reference forms to your pastor or spiritual leader, a teacher or employer, and a friend or parent (if you are under 18 this must fill out by a parent). |

You can either print out these forms and ask your references to mail them back to us (we suggest giving them a stamped envelope with our address already on it) - or you can send them an email invitation to come to our website and submit your recommendation there. We suggest that if you email them the invitation that you also call them and ask them to be looking for it in their email. |

Health Information
We need to gather your health information and background so we can responsibly care for you on trips and at our base. You will need to print out this form and have your doctor fill it out at a checkup. |

Pay and Submit
Your will need to submit a $35 application fee before your application will be considered. You can do this online, at the end of the application, or by check. Make sure to get everything ready before starting the application, including your essay question answers.
