The performing arts DTS is designed for high school graduates who have skills in the areas of the performing arts and desire to use them while completing Youth With A Mission's basic Discipleship Training School program.
If you want to set aside a time in your life, to be 100% focused on the Lord with other people who love the arts, this is for you. It's about Christian character and is more than just theory. It's a journey into the heart of God.
The school is split into two phases. During the lecture phase your day is structured to include lectures from renowned speakers and missionaries, small group interaction, time alone with the Lord and of course free time to get to know all the people God has brought together at this time.
You will follow one of four tracks in your primary skill area (Theatre, Music, Dance or Production), receiving a beginner’s level training in all areas and learn and rehearse the program for the second phase.
For the second phase (the outreach phase) you will go on tour around the United States using the arts to shine the light of the gospel.
