Welcome to Sports and Fitness Discipleship Training School
The Sports and Fitness Discipleship Training School embraces and utilizes the mediums of playing sports while engaging in physical conditioning as the overall theme in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. Throughout the 12-week lecture phase and the two month outreach phase students will have opportunities to participate in sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and skate boarding. Students and staff will also participate in fitness conditioning activities such as power walking/hiking, bicycling, swimming, running, sprinting, and resistance training.
What also make this DTS unique is that it can act as the two-week basic course pre-requisite for the University of the Nation’s college of arts and sports “Physical Fitness Trainer Certification” seminar. Students, who successfully complete this DTS, well be given the opportunity to attend an additional two week advanced physical fitness seminar immediately following the return from the DTS outreach phase!
