YWAM DBS is a 5 month ministry experience that gives you tools and a community that help you feel confident in your understanding of the Bible's Story.
DBS has 2 parts
1) Campus phase
Know God Better.
- 12 weeks of immersive training near Orlando
- Study the Bible in an empowering community
- Learn the Inductive Method: a powerful tool for understanding Scripture
2) outreach phase
Make God Known.
- 6 - 8 week overseas outreach
- Travel to new and beautiful places
- Share the Bible's Story
If you don’t understand the Bible, it can be discouraging.
After all, you’re a Christian. You’re supposed to love the Word, read it, and apply it your life - right?
Sometimes it’s not that easy.
We know what it’s like to feel discouraged.
We believe you ought to be able to read the Bible and feel confident that you understand it.
That’s why since 2012 the Discipleship Bible School has helped more than 1,500 people understand - and share - God’s Story.
You can understand the Bible, too. But first you need 2 things...
- The Right Tools.
- An Empowering Community.
Discipleship Bible School will teach you the Inductive Method of studying scripture. It’s a powerful tool that helps you unlock the original meaning behind any piece of text.
But it doesn’t stop there: you’ll be studying the Bible in a Discipleship Community. You’ll have peers that will help you discover the significance of the text and they’ll help you apply it to your life.
After all: what good is understanding the Bible if you’re not gonna let it transform you?
