The goal of the School of Ministry Development (SOMD) is to equip you with a solid basis for ministry in the many forms it can take. Maybe you are called to long-term missions? Or to join staff with us? Or called to minister back in your community and spheres of society? This is all important ministry that requires a strong foundation in personal character, discipleship principles, God-led leadership, and clear vision.

 

We want to see the Kingdom of God expand into all nations and areas of culture. If that's your heart, come get equipped through SOMD. It will help you develop the call of God on your life! 

 

It starts with 12 weeks at YWAM Orlando for your campus phase. Some topics and things you can expect during this phase are:

Outreach for SOMD varies greatly depending on the time of year. Outreach can range from an international trip, to a stateside mobilization tour, to serving on our YWAM campus in various capacities. Your outreach is designed to help you gain more leadership experience in a ministry setting.
